Do a few things well and you’ll be a success. It’s a motto about simplicity that’s working for this Cremorne bolthole.
It’s just a 3-minute roll from Swan street but the traffic noise is quieter and so is the footpath. Each time we visited it was a welcome contrast to the close by bustling streets.
The layout to this café is simple and spacious. Light-filled with the grey concrete floors softened by vanilla-coloured material wall curtains. Barista, kitchen and service counter are on the left, low seating at the back and right. Through the middle, but not impeding, sits a tall bar bench.
The food offering isn’t the widest in Melbourne but the coffee is great and served promptly with a smile. They do a great breakfast we hear and there are sweet options for your afternoon coffee. Each visit we’ve felt welcomed and the atmosphere was chilled.
Step-free / Accessible Toilet (BC)
Good: There’s a majority of low seating
Not so: The main door is on the heavy side
